Intermediate Software Developer

CAN Telematics is looking for an Intermediate .NET Software Developer to assist with design and implementation of new functionality to the secure ASP Online System.
Your responsibilities will include the following:
This job will involve developing new features on the Trakopolis ASP Online System, and assisting with new hardware integrations. The selected applicant will have provide excellent documentation and status updates to the project manager. The selected applicant will also work with client to gather requriements and design upgrades to the ASP system.
Your qualifications should include:
  • A minimum of four years Microsoft development experience (C# 3.0, ASP.NET)
  • An understanding of GPS/Telematics technology.
  • Communicate well both written and verbally.
  • Strong problem solving/analytical skills.
Technical Customer Support

CAN Telematics is looking for an technical customer support person to answer technical questions regarding GPS, Telematics, and software from our customers and resellers.
Your responsibilities will include the following:
  • First contact for resellers and customers of Trakopolis and Canhaul.
  • Enter in issues to our bug tracking system and follow up with customers when resolved.
  • Troubleshoot problems with hardware and software related to our Telematics division.
  • Troubleshoot internal IT issues.
Your qualifications should include:
  • Minimum 2 year of desktop or call center support
  • High School Education.
  • Demonstrated strong technical skills with all Microsoft Windows OS and application support and networking.
  • Must be well versed in resolving all common computer problems including viruses, slow performance, errors, e-mail client set-up, software installation and configuration, wireless networks, peripheral problems.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills. Genuinely care about your customer.
  • Highly motivated and able to work independently. Take ownership for problems and follow through to resolution.
  • Certification(s) including but not limited to: A+, MCP, CCNA, MCSE, CCNP, Net+
